I Hate Writing Content For My Website - Isn't There An Easier Way?!
If you Own, run or maintain an internet based business or a site then you need content. Plain and simple, every who has a site knows this. Even those who don't have sites but are frequent internet users knows this as well. Articles quench the thirst for information and knowledge of the people. Plus, articles provide many other benefits for the site.
Some of the benefits that articles provide include putting a site high in the ranking in search results of keywords and keyword phrases that are relevant to your site. They also provide more web site visitors when they are linked to your site from another site or newsletter. Articles also increase the confidence and trust levels of customers to your site and company.
Many articles are also beneficial to both the company and its traffic. When the reader like the articles, they may tell their friends, family and peers and recommend your site to them, providing for a larger volume of traffic. You get more sales if your traffic trusts and believes in you. Your product or services would be much easier to sell when they know that you know what you are talking about.
Ok, we have established that articles are very important to a site and to business. Articles are crucial and to keep ahead in the game, a site must have content, it is imperative. There is one dilemma though, not many people like writing articles.
Many web site owners would rather spend their time on something else, and unless you're a big time company, you don't have the necessary resources to use on a pool of article writers. Plagiarism or copying of other articles is frowned upon and could easily get you into trouble, worst case scenario; a hefty fine and jail time.
So what are the other options?
Well, for starters if you hate writing articles and you can't afford to hire people to write for you then don't. Get free articles. The first place to look for free articles is the public domain. Here you won't have problems with copyright infringement and the following penalties and fines if you get caught for plagiarism.
Public domain articles are articles freely given to the public for public use. You can do whatever you want with them. You can place them on your site, name them as yours, put them in a newsletter, its up to you. Always remember though that you will have to choose articles that are relevant to your site.
The downside to public domain articles is that since it is free for everybody, many of your competitors may have access to them as well. Since every site needs to be original and unique even though you have the same niche, this could be a predicament. You may also have to edit them a bit to place more keywords and keyword phrases and to make them better.
Another way to get free articles is to allow other sites which have the same subject or topic as yours to submit articles to your site. This would be only to augment your existing content or else all your articles would be leading to other sites since these articles would have resource boxes with them that could link or direct the readers to their site. That's why it is important to have your own articles; you cold use them to link your site to other sites as well.
But, to truly feel the impact of what a good article can do for you, go for original ones. There are many article writers who do part time and freelance article writing jobs that charge only minimal fees. You can get good articles that have all the keywords and keyword phrases you need and people are looking for.
The investment you made for these articles would be worthwhile because you could use them for all the benefits you could offer. You hold copyrights to them and you will be able to use them anyway you want.

Articles and Content - Writing Articles that will Grab the Audience's Attention
Your articles won't amount to a hill of beans if the audience doesn't want to read them. Even if the content is for SEO purposes only, a person will quickly press the back button if they discover they're looking at useless information...or even that the writing is difficult to follow.
This means that your content should have ALL of the components of a great article. One that's easy to read, even easier to scan, and has information worth reading. How do you do this? Let's start with the basics of writing.
Perhaps the 'keep is simple stupid' rule has become cliché, but it will always apply, and is often ignored. If you can say it in one sentence, do it. Don't try to turn it into a paragraph just to push in more keywords. If you need to fill more space, then find more information. Don't repeat what you've already said.
Easy Scanning - Easy Reading
Use subheadings and bulleted points to make it easy for the reader to find the information they want. Don't try to force them to read the entire article. When using bulleted points, bold or highlight the first words so they can easily see what that bullet is about.
Make your article easy to read...if you can't write it without a dictionary, people can't read it without one. Avoid technical jargon unless the article is industry specific. Even if you explain what the jargon means, use a substitute whenever possible if the article is for the general public.
If you can't write, don't try to. It takes experience to understand how to pull your audience in...not to mention some underlying talent. Even if the reader is scanning the article for information, the right wording will suck them into reading the entire article. They'll suddenly look up and realize they've read the whole thing.
To do this, your article should read like a conversation...but that doesn't mean it should sound the way you talk. Some people talk like a technical manual, and no one wants to read (or hear) a technical manual. Use an active voice, and don't be afraid to break some of the grammar rules you learned in English composition.
Make it Relevant
Know your audience before you write for them. If you want to attract roofers, then write about some of the new roofing tools and other things they want to hear about...even if it's not directly related to roofing. But don't publish articles telling them how to fix a leak in a rubber roof. They already know how and won't bother to read any more on the subject.
Follow these rules, and your articles will attract a larger audience...and eventually lead to conversions. Just remember: the fact that the content is there, doesn't make it worth reading...and your audience knows this.
Why interactive media designs, content development, and search engine optimization go hand-in-hand for the success of an online business.
It never ceases to amaze me how much money an individual or corporate company is willing to spend for a fantastic web site. You know which ones I'm talking about; those web sites that make thing appear or disappear, have revolutionary designs, make sound, play music, make things move about and sometime talk back to you. Hey, I'm just as guilty as you are, I like surfing them too.
Most web site owners want you to enjoy the experience on their site and pay well for you to have that gratification, and at the same time hope you purchase or download what the web site is promoting.
However many individuals and companies end up ignoring what may be the most crucial ingredient to the success of their Internet marketing. They underestimate the importance of web designs that work collectively with high-quality search engine optimization, and fail to understand the ranking process.
Just to give you a quick example of what I'm talking about, earlier in my career I worked for an interactive media company that was selling video advertising online. They spent a huge amount of money hiring excellent designers and programmers to enhance their product and make it very appealing to the public, but failed to spend any money optimizing the web site for their particular target audience. So while they sat back and expected their target audience to miraculously find their site on the World Wide Web, another interactive company with the same product and quality web site optimization, made a lot of money; consequently running the company I worked for out of business.
Blending artistic talent with complex technological skills, interactive media designers are always finding new, undiscovered ways to manipulate code to work jointly with content and search engine algorithms. It is critical for any personal or corporate site owner to take into consideration the importance of excellent search engine optimization which determines a site's visibility and how well it will rank in the most important search engines directories. There is no overnight guarantee or quick fix for high ranking sites, however developing great designs with product conscious content along with quality target audience (SEO) is the key to online marketing success.

For affiliate marketers - Beware of duplicate content
Are you an affiliate marketer who uses the standard sales page that comes with the product your are selling? If you do, then you are probably not getting the search engine ranking you wanted.
Here's a fact. Google is implementing a duplicate content filter. One of the purpose they did that is because thousands and thousands of affiliate marketers are using the same sales page promoting the same product. Exact duplicates of these pages do not give value to the users of search engines.
The best way to overcome this is to tweak the sales page. Cut some parts, add some more content, paraphrase some paragraphs and rearrange the code. If it is a sales page uses tables to organize its layout, then probably you would like to convert it to CSS.
The more changes you have, the better chances that google wouldn't penalize your site for duplicate content.

Optimization Techniques - Blogging, the hottest trend in online publishing right now, is currently spreading like wildfire across the Internet. A cross between an online journal and a bulletin board, everyone from rock stars, politicians, business leaders and your average "Joe" or "Jane" can instantly become a center of influence online using blogs.
Written Website Content - Websites come and web sites go; it’s a fact. It’s also a fact that web sites which have exceptional web site content don’t go very often. In order to win and retain business you need to be able to attract, keep and excite people’s attention but for many that isn’t always an achievable target.
Online Content - The thought of making even a part-time income as a freelance Web writer from home can be quite appealing. Yet, finding small niche sites that are looking for articles, paying a decent amount of money, and buying content from freelancers with your particular expertise can be a daunting task. Website Content - Blogs and blogging are sweeping the internet. They are all the rage as a hobby, writing exercise, and even a career for some. In fact, it is even becoming more common that bloggers are seeking a way to make money. Be it via advertising or affiliations, they each have their own way of pursuing that writing career by way of the blog. There is another way, though.
Creating Rss Feeds - RSS or Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary is the latest information management tool that is gradually earning popularity among web users and web site owners. With RSS technology, it is possible to get the latest postings from your favorite web sites.
Reciprocal Linking - Reciprocal linking is one of the most popular and (probably) effective ways to increase your PageRank. And although I have questions whether or not your PageRank actually means anything, that's another article for another day. The idea is that the more sites on the web that point to your site, the more important your site must be.
Blog Search Engine - First and formost what is a Blog? A weblog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a weblog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a weblog is a "blogger." The growth of weblog usage over the last year has been incrediable. Blog readership increased from 17% of internet users to 27% in just 9 months. The number of weblog authors has increased from 3% in July 2002, 5% at the beginning of 2004, and 7% by late November 2004.
Online Ventures Blogging - First, it's extremely easy to add information to it. A weblog is like an online journal, so you just log in, type what happened today, post it, and you're done! Second (this is the really cool part) you can add a simple little feature that automatically tells a whole bunch of other web sites that you've made an update to your weblog -- every time you make a change!
