Internet Marketing - Content is King

Are you aware of how vitally important and valuable CONTENT is to your online business? In fact, content can do more to build your business and profits than just about any other resource or service available.

Following is a list of 5 key ways that content can help build your traffic, subscribers, and customers starting today!...

1. Boost your search engine ranking and daily visitor count by posting keyword rich articles and content on your web-site. For example, if your business involves offering products and services related to fitness, posting fitness related articles and content will attract unlimited prospective customers on a regular basis!

2. Generate double or even triple the number of newsletter subscribers you do currently, simply by offering content in the form of "special reports" or manuals as bonuses for subscribing to your publication. People love freebies, so give them what they want and watch as your results increase!

3. Create an automated cashflow by using content to formulate multi-part email training courses with related web-site or affiliate links "sprinkled" throughout each course. Use an autoresponder service to automate the delivery of your training course (such as a 5 part training course delivered over a 5 day period).

Training courses can also serve as excellent bonus offers for your prospective newsletter subscribers.

4. One of the most important keys to a successful online business is not JUST having a list of mailing list or newsletter subscribers... It's about building a trusting relationship with your subscribers (ie, "cultivating" your list)...

(Just make sure that you NEVER take advantage of the relationship you develop with your list by offering products or services of poor quality just to make a quick buck!)

If there is one "constant" in Internet marketing, it's this: A cultivated list of subscribers is as good as money in the bank. Write that down and never forget it!

5. Another excellent way to generate no cost traffic is by submitting ready-made articles to "content hungry" web-site and newsletter publishers with your "resource box" attached. A resource box is nothing more than a little 3-6 line "bio" about you and/or your web-site - including a link to your site (or even instructions on how to subscribe to your newsletter)...

When submitting or offering your article(s) for reprint purposes, just make sure to specify that each article is to be reprinted "as is" with your resource box attached.

...Even one article can go a LONG way towards generating no cost traffic and visitors for you. Just imagine your article being sent out to a newsletter subscriber base of 100,000 individuals - many of whom will be reading YOUR included resource box and clicking on your URL to learn more about what you have to offer!

Well there you have it, 5 sure ways to build your online business exponentially with the help of articles and content...

With the declining effectiveness of many of the online advertising methods that we've relied on in past years, content is only strengthening its position as the ultimate KEY to generating unlimited traffic, subscribers, and customers!

The Importance of Page Content

The Importance of Page Content

The content of a page is probably the most important consideration when building traffic to your web site. Other techniques do gain more traffic but page content and content of your web site in general is most important when producing a good quality site that will naturally build traffic. 1.1 General guidelines for a page For a page to rank well with the search engines, the page should be optimized and have sufficient text that is of relevance to your visitor. Ideally the page will be written and presented to be easy to read. It will have a good use of white space and placing of text blocks and pictures (graphics).

The text you write should be warm and compelling. It should flow well so it is easy to read and be in short paragraphs so interest is easy to maintain.

The content you place on the page should be reflected by the page name, title, the H1 heading, description and meta tag keywords. 1.2 Page Content As the number of pages on the web increases, it is becoming more difficult to achieve a high page ranking. There is much you can do and the most important consideration is the content on the page. Search engines are becoming more specialized at looking at the page as a whole and ranking the page on the basis if its content rather than just the title, meta tag keywords and the description. The text or copy on the page is now becoming the most important feature with the all the properties of the page being used to judge its ranking.

This is good from our point of view. Let me explain. If we are interested in creating a page that is relevant to our site visitor then the copy of the page will contain accurate and compelling information about its topic. The page will naturally rank higher than other less well constructed pages. If our pages are the best we can make them, when compared with much poorer pages, our pages will rapidly rise in ranking.

When a search engines refers a visitor to your page, they will record the time that they spend at your site (as long as the visitor clicks back to the search engine). This information is used to rank pages. If your visitor stays longer on your site compared with other sites, your page ranking will naturally improve.

So creating pages that are "sticky" will help ranking and in turn increase traffic to your site.

Anime Content and Its Effects

According to the Internet age early in the 1990s, Anime was slowly approaching to its fans diversely across the web. Different web sites were made to display different Anime series by giving the visitors content to come back for. Around this time, Anime fans were more into searching for their favorite Anime series and finding media such as images and screenshots from the specific shows that they watched and enjoyed. Inspired by Japanese Animation, these fans were verily into drawing their own Anime pictures. When this trend vastly became popular, fans began to submit their Anime fan art to web sites, so that others can view their work. This, however, was only its starting point as Anime started to reach out to thousands of people.

After 1995, amassed Anime shows from Japan had entered the television networks of America. Popularly known cable television channels such as Sci-Fi, Cartoon Network's Toonami, WB, and FOX took part in this new revolution and millions of Anime fans started to watch their very own Anime programs! Primarily, these television networks aired shows such as the popular Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, and Gundam Wing. But as the numbers watching Anime in the nation grew to a certain point, even more shows were available to the fans. Once again, it all came back to the Internet as an evolved form.

Movie clips and other multimedia became broadly accessible to the public now. Fans started downloading countless of video clips based on their favorite Anime series. Soundtracks and albums were also out, along with DVDs that can be purchased online and in stores everywhere. This "age" of Anime content on the web lasted quite a few good years until, of course, the modern days of Anime kicked in. This period of time is what I refer to as "Unlimited Anime", meaning that there is basically no limit to what sources have to offer in the field of Japanese Animation.

Finally it happened. Fans can now download full episodes of numerous Anime series, with no strings attached. But this doesn't mean that just anybody can download full episodes, because you had to have met the minimum requirements. This condition means that the person who wishes to download this content has to generally have the original DVD of that particular Anime series. So if users that download Anime full episodes don't have DVD copies of the series, the web site isn't responsible for their actions. A web site offering this type of content to Anime fans normally has a Terms & Policy statement, which elucidates all possible rights and wrongs, stated on a portion of their web site. These webmasters let their visitors download full episodes by either direct linking to the URL, uploading it as a zip or compressed file onto a P2P network, or submitting it as a BitTorrent media, which is by the way the latest method used today.

I host an Anime web site, by the name of DJ's Anime, that basically presents this major Anime multimedia to the public. You can view my web site at "http://djs-anime.uni.cc/" and view the Anime content that I offer. It's currently a new project of mine and will soon expand to a much larger audience.

FL, Orange Park. I'm in high school right now and being a webmaster is what I do at home on the internet. I have mastered HTML and other languages that are necessary when designing web sites. I have made several successful web sites online and each time, my knowledge reaches a new height. I am concentrating on web marketing for my web site by taking part in several affiliation programs in order to gain traffic and possibly towards making money.

3 Sources of Content All Affiliates Should Use...

As an affiliate, it's critical that you have a web site. "Having" a web site is not always the hardest part - the hardest part is that your web site needs to get traffic! So, how do you get traffic?

There is absolutely no question that the best form of traffic is search engine traffic. Search engines can deliver highly targeted traffic that is absolutely free.

The catch?

Well, how do you get search engines to give you traffic in the first place? How do you convince a robotic spider that your web site deserves their attention?

One word: Content

Search engines have one primary goal: To serve their visitors with quality content targeted to what their visitor is looking for. A search engine is going to do anything in their power to rank web sites based on what think is relevant.

So, in the end, your real job is to find a way to convince the search engines that your web site is better suited for a topic than another web site - in other words - you need to better optimize your web site for a given keyword that another web site.

All in all this means that your web site needs content. Day by day the "amount" of content your web site needs is increasing. As more web sites compete, the search engines are looking for more and more content on your web site.

Search engines are giving more credibility, hence traffic, to larger web sites with more updated content. They figure that if a web site has lots of pages that are constantly updated, it is a more credible web site. So, now how does the little guy, an affiliate, compete and keep their web site on the top?

3 Sources of Fast and Credible Content

1. Article Directories

Many argue that article directories are bad places to get articles from because of the "duplicate content" penalty that search engines may throw at you. However, what they do not realize is that search engines penalize duplicated PAGES, not content - there is a difference.

This means that search engines are looking for duplicate HTML rather than duplicate articles. It is common sense that certain articles and press releases may be placed on multiple places on the internet - this has been happening since the beginning of the internet.

However, if HTML is duplicated, then the search engines know that someone is trying to trick them.

Feel free to grab articles from directories, just make sure that you are plugging these articles into your own unique HTML files - create your own custom templates.

2. Blogs

Blogs have become extremely powerful lately - search engines are devouring them. Why? Well blogs are short for "web log" - an internet based journal. Just the title automatically indicates that the weblog will be consistently updated.

Blogs are also very clean and simple HTML with easy to follow navigation for search engines. If you have not yet, it is a wise decision to launch a weblog on your own web site.

3. Product Reviews/Information

Many affiliates who sell physical products or have web sites that sell hundreds or thousands of web sites argue that they cannot possibly write articles to promote all the products.

So, how do you have meaningful pages of "content" if you sell lots of products and writing articles is too difficult?

Write product reviews or copy/paste information on that product.

If you ever search for an electronic item in the search engines, you'll find that the top ranking sites are not always articles but are typically just web sites that sell that product. Some of them have "reviews" of the product and others just have copied and pasted information from the company.

So, a fast way to get content is to simply "borrow" technical specs and reviews on the product. But remember, put these into your own template (since it is repeated content).

There you have it - 3 sources for fast content to help you fill your web site with many pages that search engines can index and then refer traffic to.
